MY CHOCOLATE VALENTINES
I didn't know how a piece of chocolate could be good company for Valentines

To live and love, what could be better? Having a boyfriend with whom to spend Valentines Day? Maybe. What about a chocolate boyfriend? A boyfriend that sits by your side giving you sweet looks and kissing you with silky chocolate lips. Or that let’s you gently eat him up from head to toes while he patiently waits for you to finish a 20-page essay. Now that is what I call live and love.
Living far away from my boyfriend, having an econ midterm on Monday, my date for valentines canceled, and the cherry on top of what would seem the worst Valentines day on earth was my 20-page essay that I had to write for a class I didn’t even like.
Valentines day looked grim when I woke up at 8:30 a.m. to keep writing that infinite essay that took up all my time during the weekend. Sitting on my bed thinking about the great time I could be spending if I was back in Ecuador, I remembered the care package mi mom had sent me, and had arrived a day before Valentines day. Looking through the banged up box I found my very own CHOCOLATE BOYFRIEND!
Exited about having someone to share the love with, I began to write my essay with a more optimistic view. With the sweet smell of my beautiful chocolate boyfriend and his delicious and addicting moist kisses, I soon forgot about all the negative aspects that were making my day feel so dreary and sad.
Having my beautiful brown skinned boyfriend next to me turned aside the intrinsic idea that I was utterly alone for the past 24 hours of the worlds LOVE day. But the idea that I would have someone to accompany me while I was sitting alone trying to put ideas on paper was extremely comforting.
Even though there wasn’t much conversation between us, I can definitely say that spending time with my new love, “Charley Brown” (as I called him) was exceptional and incredible. With his provocative taste, my Chocolate boyfriend certainly gave me one incredible experience to cherish as the weirdest Valentines date I have ever had.
